I was interested in science at a very early age. The way the body functioned was very intriguing to my young mind. Cumulated with my desire to help people in their time of greatest need lead me to my journey of being a physician. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree of Science with emphasis on physiology and anatomy at California State University, Fresno, CA. From there, I went to Western University of Health Sciences for Medical School in Pomona, CA. My Internal Medicine Residency lead me to Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ. Since finishing my residency in 2015, I have been working as a hospitalist. Currently working as a hospitalist at Tucson Medical Center. In addition, I also see patients at Copper Health of Oro Valley and Casa Adobes Skilled Nursing Facilities. Along with patient care I am also the Medical Director at Interim Home Health Care and Hospice Family Care. My work experience also includes home visits for home bound patient which I did for many years before I stopped a few years ago. My biggest issue with outpatient medicine then was not being able to spend enough time with my patients to provide them the best care they need and deserve. I have always had a desire for outpatient medicine to make a connection and a bond with my patients. I believe with Direct Primary Care Medicine I can make that connection, allow ample time for my patients and provide the best care possible for my patients.
